The history of the Chair "Foreign Languages"
In 1972 the Chair of the General Educational Subjects was organized at the General Technical Faculty at the Jizzakh branch of the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute. The Chair was called “Marxism – Leninism and Languages”
The Head of the Chair was the candidate of philosophy A. Soatov. There were 15 members of the Chair in 1980, the Chair had been renamed as “General Educational discipline” and had been led by G. O. Bilchenko. At that time German, Russian was taught at the chair. The Faculty was organized as the Branch of the Tashkent Polytechnic institute and the teachers had taught then German, English and Russian. After G.O. Bilchenko retired, the Chair was led by dosent Tagmatov K. T. Russian, English, German, and Physical Training were taught at the Chair. From 1993 the Chair was led by Soatov D. The Chair was called then as “Uzbek and Russian Languages”. At that time Uzbek was taught also at the Chair. In 1966 the Chair “Uzbek and Russian Languages was renamed as” “The Foreign Languages”. From 1966 till 1998 the Chair was led by dosent Isaev A. The Chair was renamedas “Uzbek and Foreign Languages”. Nowadays Uzbek, Russian, English and German are being taught at the Chair. In 1997 Em. M V. became the candidate of Philology.
Since 1999 the chair has been led by docent. Em.M.V. Nowadays scientific research and educational work is being done at the chair. Each year the chair is fill up with young teachers.
In 2012 the chair was renamed “The Foreign Languages”. In this chair the following teachers work: head of the chair – dosent Em. M , Mustafakulova H, Baysariyev N, Dusbaeva N, Kuychiyeva Z, Madiyeva G,Soliyev O., Norkulova D., Hazratkulova A., Sandibayeva D., Karimov F., Mustafakulova F., Kurbanova D., Norkuziyeva I, Bakiyeva R., Haydarova D
Teachers of the chair permanently pass instruction courses for improving their qualification. In 2011 one of the young teacher of the chair Sanakulov Azamat passed instruction courses for improving his qualification in India.
